Shinaya Peiris

Shinaya Peiris (she/her) is BUSU's Vice-President, Student Services. Shinaya serves as the representative of Student Services for the undergraduate student union at Brock. In this role her portfolio includes events and clubs, two services that BUSU provides to enhance student life on campus. Shinaya cooperates with other student leaders to bring the best student experience at Brock University.
Shinaya grew up in Colombo, Sri Lanka holds a degree from Brock University in Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration of Operations Management. Over the last year, Shinaya has worked under the BUSU events and marketing team as a member of the street team. Over her four years at Brock, she has also had an opportunity to play an integral part in BUSU clubs. She served as the Vice President and later as the President of the Brock Sri Lankan Students Association. Last year she founded and led the Formula One Club at Brock. She is excited for the upcoming year and hopes to provide an enhanced student life at Brock.

My top priority is to make sure you have everything you need to thrive here at Brock. Whether that means improving our services, organizing fantastic events, or just lending an ear when you need to chat, I’m here for you. I want to make sure our campus is a place where everyone feels supported and engaged.
