Organization of Latin American Students

Cultural Awareness and Celebration: To foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of Latinx and Hispanic cultures among all students, promoting diversity and inclusion through educational  programs, cultural events, and social activities.  

Support and Empowerment: To provide a supportive community for Latinx and Hispanic students,  offering mentorship, academic resources, and leadership development opportunities to help members  achieve their personal and professional goals.  

Community Engagement and Advocacy: To engage with the broader community through outreach and service projects, advocating for issues affecting the Latinx and Hispanic communities, and  collaborating with other student organizations to promote social justice and equity.  

Promoting Cultural Exchange: To encourage cultural exchange and dialogue among members and the broader student body, fostering mutual understanding and respect through collaborative events,  discussions, and shared experiences.  

Networking and Professional Development: To create networking opportunities for members by  connecting them with alumni, professionals, and organizations within the Latinx and Hispanic  communities, facilitating workshops, seminars, and career development activities.
