Students for Justice in Kashmir Brock

We, as members of Students for Justice in Kashmir (SJK), acknowledge that Brock University is situated on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe peoples, under the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Covenant. Our values are based in transnational solidarity with Indigenous people located here on Turtle Island and around the world, and recognize that the freedom of Kashmir is incomplete without the freedom of all oppressed groups and peoples worldwide.

We are committed to celebrating open dialogue and raising awareness about the situation of Kashmir. We plan conscious-raising events centering Kashmir and its culture, identity, and predominant faith of its inhabitants.
