The BrockU Ethics Club is centred around ethical ways of living and aims to provide students with a platform to engage in ethical principles. We intend to educate members on ethics involving honesty, fairness, advocacy, autonomy, morals, conscience, etc. Our club aims to teach members how to apply these values in their personal, professional, and academic lives. By looking through the scopes of medical, sociology/law, business, environmental, and personal ethics, we plan to incorporate various workshops and events to bring like-minded students together. Additionally, we focus on teaching ethics in a more interesting and digestible way. One of the many ways we plan on making ethical concepts engaging is through our club events, such as our ‘Moral Mukbang’ where members can discuss what defines a moral compass while eating hearty food with friends, making concepts fun and, literally, digestible. Overall, the BrockU Ethics club aims to bring important ethical concepts into light in ways that are fun and relatable to members, leaving a lasting impact that they can apply to their daily lives.
