Students, faculty and staff are invited to indulge in Hot Breakfast in Union Station.

Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) will be hosting one last Hot Breakfast of the semester in Union Station. Hot Breakfast is part of the Food First initiative, which aims to address food insecurity among post-secondary students.

All students are welcomed to enjoy free Hot Breakfast featuring pancakes, french toast, breakfast sausage, eggs, crispy hashbrowns, juice, coffee and fresh fruit.

“We enjoy offering hot breakfast to the students each month,” said Shinaya Peiris, Vice-President Student Services. “This event ensures that each student will begin their day right with a hot meal, full bellies, ready to take on their day on campus.”

BUSU encourages faculty and staff to join breakfast for a small donation of $2 or a non-perishable food item. These donations will go directly to support ongoing efforts to food insecurity on campus.

Hot Breakfast takes place Thursday, April 3 in Union Station from 7:30am until supplies last. To find out more about Food First, please visit the BUSU website.
