Students are encouraged to collect their Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) sticker outside of Goodman School of Business and the Student Alumni Centre. U-Pass will be available Tuesday through Friday from Sept. 3 to 13.
Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) is making it easy for students to collect their Universal Bus Pass (U-Pass) during BadgerFest and the first couple of weeks of classes. Students are encouraged to collect their U-Pass stickers outside between the Student Alumni Centre and Goodman School of Business. Students can collect their U-Pass sticker Tuesdays through Friday, Sept. 3 to 13. The tables will remain open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A valid Brock student card is required to collect a U-Pass.
U-Pass provides travel within the Niagara Region for Brock students, including St. Catharines, Thorold, Niagara Falls, Welland, Fort Erie, and Port Colbourne. Students can learn more about U-Pass here.
"With over three-quarters of Brock Students taking the bus to campus each day, we are very excited to provide a U-Pass to as many students as possible for the upcoming year,” said Vice-President, University Affairs, Carleigh Charlton. “From coming on campus for classes and events, to commuting to their jobs in the community, or even just heading to the Pen Centre to shop, we are proud that the U-Pass can help connect our students to the Niagara Region."
If students are unable to collect their U-Pass before Sept. 13, they can visit BUSU Front Desk weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. BUSU is located on the 3rd floor of the Student-Alumni Building.
In order to provide enough time for all students to collect their U-Pass, they will not be asked to show their sticker when riding the bus during September. However, U-Pass stickers should be collected as soon as possible to ensure smooth travel on public transit.
