The Brock University Students’ Union (BUSU) hosted its highly anticipated Clubs Year End dinner on April 4 in Union Station. This annual celebration is a time where students gather to celebrate each other's accomplishments throughout the year. BUSU is home to over 100+ diverse student run clubs.
Club members nominate themselves or other clubs for awards based on their work and achievements. This year introduced six new categories as well, offering club members the chance to award more students for their hard work throughout the year. Winners are reviewed and chosen by the Clubs Policy Committee (CPC).
The awards and winners for the 2024 – 2025 school year were:
“Clubs show their dedication throughout the year through events, collaborations and fundraising efforts,” said Shinaya Peiris, Vice- President Student Services. “This year’s Club of The Year Winner, The Filipino Students’ Association, has set the bar high making them one of the most dynamic and well recognized clubs on campus.”
Congratulations to all clubs recognized. The 2024/25 year has been a memorable one with over 1875 club run events. BUSU looks forward to welcoming new clubs and their members next semester.
