BUSU Clubs takes centre stage!

Brock University Students Union (BUSU) is home to over 100 plus student run clubs. Clubs are an essential component of Brock student life and one of the most important services provided by BUSU. Clubs Week caters to promoting BUSU clubs and will run from Oct.7 to 11 with clubs tabling, BUSU Fall Carnival, and a huge giveaway.

“This is the week BUSU’s clubs take centre stage, so students can learn more about how amazing it is to be part of a club and find one that suits their interests, “said Vice-President, Student Services, Shinaya Peiris. “Enjoy engaging interactions with club members, a whimsical carnival on campus, and exciting giveaways. It's a week of unforgettable moments you won't want to miss!"

Students are encouraged to visit Union Station Monday, Oct. 7 to meet club members, learn the benefits of joining a club, and enjoy free games and popcorn. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., nine BUSU clubs will switch out every hour, giving students the opportunity to meet, interact with and join a club.

BUSU Fall Carnival will take place on Weather Station Field, Oct. 9 beginning at 3 p.m. Brock students will enjoy free carnival rides, games, henna and face painting and low-cost food options. This is a free event for Brock students. Brock card will be needed for entry.

Be sure to attend both events for a chance to win 1 of 5 x $100 gift cards. Simply find the QR poster at each event, scan and your entered in for a chance to win either an Amazon, Footlocker, Isaac's, Walmart or Lululemon gift card.

BUSU’s Clubs continue to grow providing students with 100 plus ratified clubs for the 2024/2025 academic year. If you are interested in joining a club, visit the clubs page on the BUSU website.
