Jeff Burch, MPP for Niagara Centre, represents the NDP and serves as the Ontario NDP Caucus Chair. A lifelong Niagara resident with extensive experience in municipal leadership and advocacy, Jeff has championed affordable housing, municipal issues, and better working conditions for healthcare workers. Before his election in 2018, he was a union leader, non-profit CEO, and St. Catharines City Councillor.
Mayor Mat Siscoe has served as the Mayor of St. Catharines since November 2022, following 12 years on Council and a tenure on Regional Council. A high school physics teacher with 15 years of experience, he is deeply committed to community engagement, having coached youth sports, volunteered with Out of the Cold, and established the St. Catharines OutReach and Engagement Fund (SCORE) to support local non-profits. Mayor Siscoe, along with his wife Chrissy and their four children, is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, thriving community for future generations.
Mayor Gary Zalepa, a lifelong resident of Niagara, brings over 30 years of professional and volunteer experience to his role as Lord Mayor of Niagara-on-the-Lake. With previous service as a Town Councillor and Regional Councillor, he is deeply committed to preserving the town’s heritage, supporting agriculture, and fostering sustainable growth. His leadership and dedication to the community reflect his passion for building a vibrant future for residents and businesses alike.
Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls, Canada, since 2010, is a lifelong entrepreneur known for his innovative leadership and relentless passion. A cancer survivor, he has championed transformative projects like the GO Train extension, a new South Niagara Hospital, and a University Hub in downtown Niagara Falls. With a visionary approach, Jim continues to shape the city's future while leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Terry Ugulini, Mayor of Thorold since 2018, is a lifelong resident dedicated to community growth and development. With a background in skilled trades and over two decades as a union leader, he brings leadership experience to his role as both Mayor and Regional Councillor. An active volunteer and advocate, Terry is committed to making Thorold the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Chris Bittle has served as the Member of Parliament for St. Catharines since 2015, advocating for affordable housing, public transit, and poverty reduction. A lawyer by profession, he has held key parliamentary roles, including Deputy House Leader and Parliamentary Secretary in multiple ministries. Currently, as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing, Infrastructure, and Communities, he is dedicated to addressing Canada’s housing crisis and improving accessibility for residents in St. Catharines and beyond.
Vance Badawey has served as the Member of Parliament for Niagara Centre since 2015 and is currently the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport. A former Mayor of Port Colborne and longtime business owner, he brings decades of experience in public service, infrastructure, and economic development. Committed to environmental and regional sustainability, he continues to advocate for Niagara’s growth while supporting national transportation and infrastructure initiatives.
Wayne Gates is the Member of Provincial Parliament for Niagara Falls, representing Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Fort Erie. A lifelong resident of Niagara, he has served both on the Niagara Falls City Council and as President of Unifor Local 199. With a strong focus on advocating for working people and his community, Wayne has been re-elected three times since 2014 and is involved in various local initiatives, including the United Way and the Ontario Health Coalition. He lives in Niagara Falls with his wife, Rita, and cherishes time with his three daughters and five grandchildren.
