Hey Badgers!

My name is Omar Rasheed, and I am thrilled to be running for the BUSU Board of Directors. As a fourth-year BBA student, I bring strong leadership experience, a passion for advocacy, and a deep commitment to making Brock a better place for all students.

I have had the privilege of serving as a Project Manager at Brock’s Finance and Investment Group (BFIG), and am currently Director of Events for Brock’s Muslim Student Association (BrockMSA). 

If elected, my priorities will focus on financial transparency, student representation, and accountability. I will advocate for clearer access to how student fees are allocated, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible spending. Additionally, I am committed to bringing back executive elections, ensuring that every student regains their voice in choosing who represents them. Student leadership should reflect the will of the students, and I will work tirelessly to restore and amplify student voices across campus.

What drives me is my belief that every student deserves to feel represented, valued, and empowered. I am committed to ensuring that your concerns are heard and that meaningful improvements are made to enhance your university experience.
