Hi, I’m Vinay Yadav, a second-year Business Communication student, and I’m running to ensure your BUSU fees work for YOU.

Right now, once-free BUSU events now charge for tickets, and student staff receive only a fraction of what you pay in fees. You already contribute enough—but is your money really going where it should?

If elected, I will:

• Increase Club Levy.
• Increased accountability, we should to answerable to you.
• Higher club funding so clubs can serve more opportunities of your interest.
• Advocate for students by raising key issues that matter to you.
• Push for better budget management to ensure financial transparency.
• Ensure more student hiring at BUSU, so more jobs go to students.
• Bring more free events, so your pocket doesn’t bother to have some fun with your friends.

I will raise my voice for your clubs to be highly represented alongside, ask for introduction of transparency, representation and minimum floor amounts for every club funding needs by classification on basis of size, . It’s time for a BUSU that prioritizes students first.
