My name is Mariam Ben Omrane, and I am a first-year university student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Science.  

I currently serve as the Director of Events for the Muslim Student Association (MSA), where I organize events that foster community engagement, inclusivity, and fun!  

Through this role, I have developed strong leadership, event planning, and communication skills, all helping me build myself as an excellent fit for this role.  

I am so excited to take my involvement further by running for a two-year term on the BUSU Board. My goal is to advocate for student needs, promote inclusivity, and enhance the student experience at university by promoting needed job opportunities on campus while also bringing more culture and fun into my planned events for my years here at Brock University. If elected, I will make sure your years of university will be your best and most memorable!  

Nevertheless, I am always committed to being a strong voice for my peers and all students at Brock, making a meaningful and memorable impact on campus.
