Hello Badgers!

I’m Archi Tamakuwala, a passionate and driven student eager to make a positive impact on our campus community. As a student at Brock, I’ve had the opportunity to explore my interests and develop a deep appreciation for the campus life, opportunities, and facilities provided to us students.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve been actively involved in various campus organizations, both as an executive and as a member of many different clubs. Through these experiences, I’ve honed my leadership skills, cultivated strong relationships with my peers, and gained a valuable understanding of the student experience. Currently working as the Communications Coordinator with BUSU, I’ve had a chance to become familiar with the work that goes behind student life success.

I aim to introduce certain reforms and address the issues that I’ve noticed and heard peers complaining about during my three years as a student. I want to bring changes to those issues that students face in their daily lives, impacting their long-term goals, and issues that are often left untreated, directly affecting productivity and ease on campus. My goal is to create a more supportive, inclusive, and balanced campus environment. I believe that joining the Vice President University Affairs Advisory Committee is the perfect way for me to finally have a position to address the gaps we’ve all felt and a chance to be the voice for us all.

Thank you!
